Daniel Chapter has been issued a cease and desist order from the FTC, and are presently in the process of seeking a stay. Lead attorney carrying the case forward, Herb Titus, was recently interviewed on several radio programs and had this to say on The Power Hour, Jan. 21, 2010 "Essentially, if this order is allowed to stand it will shut down Daniel Chapter One completely. . .we will have implications throughout the dietary supplement industry and ministry because other people could be faced with the same kind of thing."
"The FTC does not have the statutory authority much less the constitutional right to impose its will on Daniel Chapter One." "People who are concerned about the institutionalization of a government health care plan through the Obama statute, should be as greatly concerned about this as with regard to that. It's the same kind of agenda that we are attempting to stop here, and we've seen in the recent election in Massachusettes that the people are up in arms. Well, they should be up in arms about this battle against Daniel Chapter One."
